The Imam Zain Al-Abideen Teaching Hospital, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced statistics regarding the medical services it provided during the first half of the holy month of Ramadan. The services were delivered as part of the ongoing “Ramadan Al-Khair” initiative aimed at providing healthcare support to citizens.
Mustafa Al-Mousawi, the hospital’s Media Officer, stated in an interview with the official website that “the Imam Zain Al-Abideen Teaching Hospital, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, received (11,180) patients over (15) days since the launch of the ‘Ramadan Al-Khair’ initiative, which the hospital introduced in conjunction with the start of the holy month of Ramadan.”
He explained that “the number of laboratory tests conducted at the hospital reached (27,528), in addition to radiological examinations which totaled (3,494) tests.” He added that “the number of surgical operations reached (509) procedures, while the number of births totaled (138) deliveries, along with (64) endoscopic procedures.”
He further noted that “all these figures reflect the significant efforts made by the hospital to provide healthcare services to citizens arriving from all Iraqi governorates.”
It is worth noting that the Imam Zain Al-Abideen Teaching Hospital is one of the medical institutions affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, offering therapeutic and diagnostic services to various segments of society through specialized medical and nursing staff and modern medical equipment.
