The Engineering and Technical Projects Department at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has announced that work on the Warith Al-Anbiyaa Hospital project in Muthanna Governorate is progressing at an accelerated pace. The aim is to complete the project within the designated timeframe, thereby supporting the healthcare sector and providing advanced medical services to the residents of the governorate.
In a statement obtained by the Official Website, the department stated that "work on the hospital project is continuing at an increasing momentum to ensure its completion on time, given its vital role in serving a broad segment of patients amid the shortage of medical services faced by many regions across Iraq."
The statement added that "the hospital is being constructed on an area of 2,500 m², comprising 7 floors with a capacity of 150 beds. It will house several medical specialties, including oncology, nephrology, internal medicine, cardiology, and wound care departments."
It further noted that "the project is being executed in accordance with international specifications, enhancing the level of medical services provided and forming a significant addition to the state of healthcare services in Muthanna Governorate."
Previously, the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalai, affirmed that Imam Hussain Holy Shrine does not seek to serve as a replacement for government ministries and authorities through its educational, service, and health projects. Rather, it aims to act as a pillar of support in serving and uplifting society.
