Covering an Area of (1,350) m²: Imam Hussain Holy Shrine Opens Additional Service Facilities Within the Al-Aqeela Zainab (peace be upon her) Courtyard Project to Serve Arbaeen Pilgrims

The Expansion Projects Department at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has announced the opening of the Ali Al-Akbar Hall (peace be upon him) within the Al-Aqeela Zainab (peace be upon her) Courtyard Project to serve pilgrims during the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him). The initiative comes as part of the shrine's ongoing efforts to expand its infrastructure and enhance the level of services provided to pilgrims.

In a statement received by the official website, the department said, "The Expansion Projects Department at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has opened the Ali Al-Akbar Hall (peace be upon him) within the Al-Aqeela Zainab (peace be upon her) Courtyard Project to serve pilgrims during the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), as part of its continued efforts to expand infrastructure and improve the quality of services provided to pilgrims."

It explained that "the opening was carried out under the directives of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalaei, and under the supervision of the Secretary-General of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, Hassan Rashid Jawad Al-Abayji, with the aim of providing a fully integrated service environment capable of accommodating the millions of visitors arriving in the holy city of Karbala."

The statement added that "the hall covers an area of (1,350) m² and has been fully equipped to provide a comfortable, air-conditioned environment capable of accommodating large numbers of pilgrims, ensuring their comfort throughout the days of the pilgrimage."

It further noted that "the project also includes an outdoor area covering (5,000) m², designated to organize the movement of pilgrims and provide spacious areas for services and rest, contributing to smooth pedestrian flow and accommodating the expected millions of visitors."

The statement affirmed that "this project represents a significant addition to the network of service projects implemented by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine and reflects its commitment to developing infrastructure and providing the highest level of services to pilgrims, in line with the scale of the million-strong pilgrimage and enhancing the quality of services delivered during the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him)."
