The Imam Hussein Center, affiliated with the Media Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, held its fourth annual forum in Türkiye and its first in the city of Hatay, with the participation of religious, cultural, and social figures, as well as a large gathering of followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
During his address, the technical deputy head of the Media Department, Mr. Al-Hassan Neama Al-Khafaji, said that "the Imam Hussein Center, affiliated with the Media Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, held its fourth annual forum in Türkiye and its first in the city of Hatay, attended by religious, cultural, and social figures and a large gathering of followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)." He noted that "the city of Hatay witnessed the first Husayni gathering in its history."
He explained that "the movement of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) represents a humanitarian project that calls for freedom, justice, and reform," adding that "Husayni media continues to fulfill its mission of promoting a culture of dialogue and coexistence, while conveying the true image of the humanitarian and cultural projects of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine."
He added that "the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine remains committed to supporting the people of Hatay and strengthening communication with them, as well as facilitating their visits to the holy shrines in Iraq." He also conveyed the greetings of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalaei, and the Secretary-General of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, Mr. Hassan Rashid Al-Abayji, to all residents of the city.
He continued that "Hatay was selected to host the forum because of its religious and social significance, its large community of followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and to deliver a message of moral support to the city's residents following the earthquake disaster." He also praised the role of the Ahl al-Bayt Foundation in ensuring the success of the forum and the continued cooperation in organizing cultural and religious activities across various Turkish cities.
For his part, the director of the Imam Hussein Cultural Center in Istanbul, Mr. Sabah Al-Talqani, said that "the forum witnessed broad and distinguished participation due to the city's religious and social significance."
He explained that "the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine is committed to strengthening its cultural and religious presence in Türkiye and continuing its cooperation with the Ahl al-Bayt Foundation to organize more events in various Turkish cities."
