Imam Hussain Shrine Provides Free Medical Care to Over 500 Patients in Two Months

The Martyrs and Wounded Care Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine announced that it provided comprehensive medical services to more than 500 patients during September and October, as part of its humanitarian program dedicated to supporting the families of martyrs, the wounded, and underprivileged families across Iraq.

The department’s media officer, Imad Al-Jashami, told the official website that the department continues its daily efforts to deliver medical and health support to these families in coordination with the medical institutions and centers affiliated with the Shrine.

He explained that the department provided full medical care to over 500 patients during the two-month period, including medical consultations, diagnostic tests, and the provision of necessary treatments. The patients’ progress was also monitored until the completion of their recovery, all at the expense of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine.

Al-Jashami added that the Shrine’s medical and technical teams give special attention to the families of martyrs and the wounded, in recognition of their great sacrifices and as part of the Shrine’s ongoing commitment to honor those who gave their lives for the nation.

He further emphasized that the department continues implementing this humanitarian program on a daily basis, under the direct supervision of the Shrine’s General Secretariat, to ensure the ongoing delivery of the highest-quality medical services and healthcare to these deserving groups.

The Martyrs and Wounded Care Department reaffirmed its commitment to expanding its efforts to provide the best possible medical and humanitarian support to the families of martyrs and the wounded, in appreciation of their sacrifices and in line with the Shrine’s mission to care for those who have given the most for Iraq.
