The Maintenance Department at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has announced the completion of roofing works for the open spaces of the Ali Al-Akbar (peace be upon him) Hall within the Al-Aqila (peace be upon her) Courtyard project, covering an area of more than 3,000 square meters, with the aim of providing a comfortable and safe service environment for pilgrims.
The Head of the Maintenance Department, Engineer Abdul Hassan Mohammed, said in a statement to the official website, "The Maintenance Department at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has completed the roofing works for the open spaces of the Ali Al-Akbar (peace be upon him) Hall within the Al-Aqila (peace be upon her) Courtyard project, covering an area of more than 3,000 square meters, with the aim of providing a comfortable and safe service environment for pilgrims."
He explained that "this project is part of the service plan prepared by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine for the Arbaeen pilgrimage, with the objective of providing shaded areas that protect pilgrims from the sun's rays and offer suitable places for rest, in addition to supporting the smooth movement of pilgrims within the Al-Aqila (peace be upon her) Courtyard project, in line with the large numbers arriving in the holy city of Karbala."
The Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues to implement its comprehensive plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) by mobilizing all of its service, medical, engineering, organizational, and media departments and institutions, while dedicating its human and logistical resources to serve pilgrims arriving from inside and outside Iraq, ensuring the delivery of integrated services, enhancing the smooth flow of crowds, and contributing to the commemoration of this multi-million-person occasion in the best possible manner.
