The Technical Education Authority at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues to provide services to pilgrims commemorating the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) through its field service procession, as part of its contribution to implementing the comprehensive service plan.
The Head of the Authority, Dr. Abbas Al-Daami, said in a statement to the official website, "The Technical Education Authority at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues to provide services to pilgrims commemorating the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) through its field service procession, as part of its contribution to implementing the comprehensive service plan."
He explained that "this year, the service procession is witnessing the active participation of the Authority's staff, alongside a distinguished group of volunteer university graduates, to provide a variety of services to pilgrims arriving in the holy city of Karbala."
He added that "the services provided include hospitality and the provision of comfort amenities for the guests of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), in addition to medical and therapeutic services, which include first aid and preventive health guidance for pilgrims."
He further explained that "the procession also includes a cultural component through interactive awareness and guidance programs aimed at promoting awareness and strengthening religious and social culture among pilgrims."
The Authority affirmed that "its participation reflects the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine's approach of utilizing its academic and scientific capabilities to serve the pilgrims of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), while contributing to the delivery of the best possible services during the Arbaeen pilgrimage, in line with its humanitarian and social mission."
The Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues to implement its comprehensive plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) by mobilizing all of its service, medical, engineering, organizational, and media departments and institutions, while deploying its human and logistical resources across various routes leading to the holy city of Karbala and at border crossings, with the aim of providing the best possible services to pilgrims arriving from inside and outside Iraq, facilitating the performance of the pilgrimage rituals, and helping commemorate this multi-million-person occasion in a safe and well-organized environment.
