The Healthcare Unit of the Department of Care for Families of Martyrs and Wounded at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has announced the provision of comprehensive therapeutic and preventive services to 278 beneficiaries during the month of August 2026, as part of its programs aimed at alleviating health and financial burdens on citizens and offering necessary medical care to deserving cases.
The department stated in an announcement obtained by the (Official Website) that "the services provided encompassed the families of martyrs and the wounded, as well as underprivileged families, in addition to political prisoners and their families, with various forms of medical care secured for them in health institutions and centers affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine."
It added that "the services varied between providing monthly treatments for individuals with chronic diseases, conducting laboratory tests, and securing medical supplies, as well as covering the costs of a number of surgical operations for the beneficiaries."
The department emphasized that "these services fall within the framework of the social solidarity approach adopted by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine and its keenness to expand the scope of healthcare and humanitarian programs, thereby contributing to supporting deserving groups and easing their burdens."
Health institutions affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continue to offer their medical and humanitarian services to various segments of society, as part of their efforts aimed at strengthening the healthcare and community support system and providing aid to deserving cases according to available resources.
