The El-Kawthar Islamic University of Pakistan hosted a research seminar competition revolving around the incident of Ashura and the circumstances which led to the Revolution of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him).
Muslim Abbas Sakban, the coordinator between the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and El-Kawthar University indicated that Sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Karbala'i, Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine encourages the lovers of Ahlul-Bait in Pakistan to write articles and researches about the life of Ahlul-Bait.
El-Karbala'i has allocated a pilgrimage prize to the Holy Shrine in Iraq for the individual who comes in first place and financial prizes for the top nine participants.
On the other hand, Sheikh Ahmed Hussein Fakhar Ed-Deen, one of the University professors indicates the submission of over 200 research papers which will be printed in a special booklet and distributed around Pakistan.
