Citizens from several Pakistani cities and of various Islamic faiths attended and participated in Karbala Cultural Week activities by visiting the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine booths in Islamabad.
Muslim Abbas Sekban, Head of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine delegation team stated that the Holy Shrines of Iraq witnessed enormous interactions from the Pakistani general public who indicated their satisfaction with the presented efforts.
In addition, the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine published and distributed approximately 10,000 of its magazines and booklets to everyone who visited their booths.
Sekban indicated that the Holy Shrine handed out 6,000 copies of "Treatise of Right" by Imam El-Sajjad, 2,000 copies of "This is my Faith" booklet, 2,000 copies of "The Companions of Imam Hussein" booklet, and 2,000 copies of "The Birth Of Light" magazine.
Other Holy Shrine publications were also distributed to University professors, students, and children of various ages.
Sekban further stated that over 700 male and female child participated in the children's booth where they seemed happy and gratified with the specialized activities for children.
