Imam Zain Al-Abideen Teaching Hospital, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with several professional syndicates in a step aimed at supporting professional groups and strengthening community ties.
In a statement received by the official website, the hospital said that “based on the directives of the representative of the supreme religious authority, Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, calling for supporting and serving all segments of society, a cooperation agreement has been signed between Imam Zain Al-Abideen Teaching Hospital, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, and a number of professional syndicates.”
The statement explained that “the agreement aims to support professional competencies and serve various segments of society, with contracts concluded with the Pharmacists Syndicate, the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate, and the Dentists Syndicate.”
It added that “the agreement includes granting a special discount of (25%) to members of these syndicates and their first-degree relatives, covering consultations, surgical procedures, laboratory tests, and radiology services.”
It noted that “to benefit from the discount, a valid syndicate ID must be presented upon review, or an official endorsement must be provided to issue the hospital’s family card.”
The signing of this agreement comes as part of a series of community partnerships that Imam Zain Al-Abideen Teaching Hospital has consistently pursued to expand its medical services and reach the widest possible segment of citizens. The hospital has previously signed similar agreements with several entities, including the Journalists Syndicate.
