Pakistan: Mufti Gulzar Praises Efforts to Promote Moderation

Islamabad: His Eminence Mufti Gulzar Ahmed Naeemi, President of Jamaat Ahl-e-Haram in Pakistan and Director of Jamia Naeemia, Islamabad, visited the Imam Hussain Cultural Center in Islamabad.

During the visit, the Center’s Director, Dr. Muhammad Askari, briefed him on its educational and cultural activities, as well as its efforts to promote inter-sectarian harmony and reinforce values of mutual respect within society.

Mufti Gulzar commended the Center’s role in advancing academic and cultural initiatives, emphasizing the importance of continuing such efforts to strengthen religious awareness and encourage a culture of moderation and constructive dialogue.

At the end of the visit, the Center presented him with a copy of the Holy Quran as a commemorative gift. He expressed his appreciation for the gesture and wished the Center continued success in its mission.

It is worth noting that the Imam Hussain Cultural Center, recently inaugurated, seeks to build bridges with cultural, academic, and religious institutions while highlighting the humanitarian and cultural role of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain.
