Sayyida Khadija al-Kubra Specialized Women’s Hospital, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the launch of a special medical initiative on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance).
In a statement obtained by the official website, the hospital said that “Sayyida Khadija al-Kubra Specialized Women’s Hospital, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, will launch a special medical initiative marking the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance),” explaining that “the initiative comes as part of humanitarian and health programs aimed at supporting patients by providing the best medical services in accordance with the latest diagnostic and therapeutic standards.”
The statement clarified that “the initiative will begin on Wednesday (15 Sha‘ban, corresponding to 4 February 2026) and will include the provision of consultation clinics across various medical specialties free of charge, in addition to a (50%) discount on medical procedures within consultation clinics, as well as radiological and laboratory examinations.”
It added that “the initiative also includes a (50%) discount on surgical operations performed by the hospital, in addition to a similar discount on endoscopic procedures, as part of supporting specialized services provided to women.”
This initiative reflects the values of giving and healthcare embraced by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine in delivering the best health services to Iraqi citizens, particularly during religious occasions.
