Imam Zain Al-Abidin (P) Hospital, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has launched the humanitarian initiative “Spirit of Giving” in celebration of the birth anniversary of Lady Zainab (peace be upon her). The initiative aims to provide medical care at symbolic prices along with special facilities to support patients in need.
The hospital’s Media Director, Mr. Mustafa Al-Moussawi, told the official website that, “Imam Zain Al-Abidin (P) Hospital, launched the Spirit of Giving initiative on the occasion of Lady Zainab’s (peace be upon her) birth anniversary, as a humanitarian step designed to offer medical services at nominal fees and with special support for patients.”
He added that, “The initiative is inspired by Lady Zainab’s (peace be upon her) path of sacrifice and generosity, and reflects the hospital’s mission to make humanitarian service a central priority in its work.” He clarified that “the initiative includes significant discounts on medical and diagnostic services, in recognition of patients’ needs and circumstances.”
He clarified that “the initiative includes providing access to consultation clinics for a symbolic fee of only 5,000 Iraqi dinars, along with a 35% discount on all laboratory tests, X-rays, digestive endoscopies, MRI, CT scans, ultrasound, and other radiological services. This will be offered starting on Tuesday (28 October), for a period of three days only.”
Al-Moussawi further noted that “Imam Zain Al-Abidin (P) Hospital has consistently launched ongoing humanitarian and service initiatives during religious occasions, affirming the mission of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to care for people and reduce the burdens placed on patients in need across the provinces.”
The Spirit of Giving initiative embodies the message of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine in strengthening the principles of service and generosity, drawing from Lady Zainab’s (peace be upon her) legacy of patience and selflessness.
