Al-Askariyain Holy Shrine Honors More Than 50 Female Quran Memorizers

The General Secretariat of the Al-Askariyain Holy Shrine hosted a delegation of fifty female Quran memorizers from secondary schools in the city of Balad, accompanied by their teaching staff, for a blessed visit that included performing the ziyarah rituals at the shrines of the two Imams Al-Askari (peace be upon them).

According to the shrine’s official website, the visit program included a guidance lecture delivered by Sheikh Awda Al-Akeeli, who highlighted the pioneering role of Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa and her daughter Lady Zainab (peace be upon them) in defending Islam and preserving its principles. He emphasized the importance of drawing inspiration from their noble examples in remaining steadfast in faith and upholding moral values.

The visit concluded with a Quranic ceremony held in the Rawaq of Imam Al-Hadi (peace be upon him), featuring blessed recitations from the Holy Quran. The event ended with the honoring of the memorizers and the distribution of commemorative gifts in recognition of their dedication and distinguished efforts in preserving the Book of God.
