Lebanon: Imam Hussain Holy Shrine Marks Graduation of 2,400 Students from Summer Quranic Courses

The International Quranic Preaching Center of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, through its branch in Lebanon, has concluded its annual summer Quranic courses for the twelfth consecutive year, held across various regions and villages in the country.

Professor Montadhar Al-Mansouri, Director of the International Quranic Preaching Center, stated that “these courses represent an important annual milestone in the Quranic project aimed at building a conscious generation committed to Islamic values. Through them, we seek to instill the principles of faith, ethics, and Quranic conduct in the hearts of youth and children.”

He added that “the program continued for two months and included lessons in creed, biography, ethics, and jurisprudence, along with specialized training in tajweed rules, Quranic recitation, and memorization. The sessions were supervised by qualified instructors and specialists.”

Al-Mansouri further noted that “more than 2,400 students, both male and female, participated in these courses across 30 villages in southern Lebanon, the Beqaa Valley, and Beirut. The closing ceremonies honored outstanding students and featured a variety of Quranic and educational activities.”
