Lebanon: International Quranic Preaching Center Honors Teaching Staff of Summer Courses

The International Quranic Preaching Center, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, concluded its summer program in Lebanon with a ceremony held at the shrine of Prophet Sari (peace be upon him) in the south of the country. The event honored the teaching staff who contributed to the success of this year’s Quranic summer courses.

According to the center’s correspondent, “around 100 male and female teachers were recognized for their role in ensuring the success of the Quranic programs organized by the center. They were presented with certificates of appreciation, commemorative gifts, and plaques from the shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).”

The ceremony was attended by researcher and writer Sayed Hussein Najib Mohammed, who delivered a speech highlighting the importance of Quranic education and adherence to the teachings of Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them). He highlighted the profound difference between those who view teaching as an ordinary profession and those who embrace it as a mission rooted in the legacy of the prophets (peace be upon them).

For his part, the head of the center’s Lebanon branch, Sayed Ali Abu Al-Hassan, spoke on the significance of these courses in nurturing children and youth. He noted that the center does not limit its activities to summer sessions but continues its educational programs throughout the year.

During the closing ceremony, Abu Al-Hassan also announced the launch of a Quran memorization project, in addition to the continuation of various Quranic programs overseen by the center across different regions of Lebanon.
