The Imam Hussein Holy Shrine Official Website Director conducted an interview with a Pakistani citizen who revealed the reasons behind his embracement to the path of Ahlul-Bait (Peace Be Upon Them).
Sayyed Muhsin El-Zaidi stated during the interview that was he originally a follower of the Deobandi denomination.
However, after deeply examining the authentic book of Shi'ism, El- Zaidi indicated that the main reasons behind his embracement were the incident of usurping Imam Ali’s (Peace Be Upon Him) succession to the caliphate, the oppression of Lady Fatima Ez-Zehra' (Peace Be Upon Her), and the issue of Fedak.
Later on, he joined the El-Kawthar Islamic University where he met with various professors and came to the conclusion that the doctrine of Ahlul-Bait is the most righteous.
Also significant to note that El-Zaidi created a Facebook page under the title "Defending Shi'ims" which discusses, clarifies, and examines the oppression of Ahlul-Bait (Peace Be Upon Them).
