The Preparatory Committee for the 11th Global Annual Martyrdom Spring Conference invited production companies, TV Channels, producers, and film directors to participate in the second edition of the Husseini Documentary Contest.
Haidar Es-Salami, member of the Committee sent an open invitation to any individual who seeks to participate in this contest.
Nonetheless, the preparatory committee has assigned a new set of rules and conditions which coincide with this year's topic of the Conference.
The rules and conditions are as follows:
1) The documentary must deal with a subject revolving around the Story of Imam Hussein as well as serving the purpose of the Conference.
2) The film cannot be submitted previously or published.
3) The language of the film should be in Arabic or containing Arabic subtitles.
4) The duration of the film should not exceed 40 minutes
5) The finished product (film) must be submitted by the 29thof April 2015 either by hardcopy (DVD) at the Documentary Committee Office or electronically via email at (rabee@alkafeel.net).
6) The submitted product (DVD or electronic edition) must contain: Film Tittle, film length, name of director, language of film (If not in Arabic), Full Name, Email, Country, City, and phone number.
7) The film must not contain a logo other than the logo of the Conference.
The Committee will choose the best three films that coincide with the topic of the Conference; where the first winner will receive $5,000, the second winner will receive $3,500, and the third winner will receive $2,000.
The Committee has also allocated seven prizes ($1,000 each) to the best seven films.
