Karbala Youth TV Channel of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine participated in the making of a 3-dimensional cartoon movie which dazzled worldwide film institutions and western movie production agencies.
The Movie is named "Roman Princess" which discusses the life story of Imam El-Mahdi's mother Narjis. The Story begins from her life as a princess in the Roman Empire until her arrival at Samara and marriage to Imam Hassan El-Askari (Peace Be Upon Him).
Yasir El-Haidari, Channel Manager stated that the story is a combination of entertainment and historical facts that illustrate the peaceful coexistence between monotheistic religions.
In addition, the story of the film talks about an inspirational butterfly which seeks to guide children towards good behavior. Later in the movie, the butterfly becomes an assistant for the princess who searches for justice.
In contrast, the villain (Bat) insists on spreading evilness and tries to prevent the butterfly from fulfilling its mission.
It also interesting to note, that the duration of the film is 75 minutes, and is a cooperative production between the Imam El-Mahdi Scout Association of Lebanon and the International Center of artistic production of Beirut.
In conclusion, El-Haidari indicated that the motive behind this initiative is to attract the local and global children segment to raise their religious and educational awareness as well as guide them towards good manners and behavior.
