Al-Zahraa University for Women, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, achieved a distinguished scientific milestone by obtaining membership in the Scientific Partners Forum of the global KNX Association. With this accomplishment, it becomes the first Iraqi university and the fourth in the Middle East to join this network of 189 universities, in cooperation with Al-Nukhba Engineering Company.
In an official statement obtained by the Official Website, the university noted that "this achievement comes as part of ongoing efforts to enhance the university's presence in international scientific forums and expand horizons for academic and research cooperation in the fields of building automation and smart building technologies." It pointed out that "membership will actively contribute to supporting student education and training, encouraging scientific and applied research, and exchanging expertise with research institutions, association members, and international universities."
The statement clarified that "this partnership offers the College of Engineering and Information Technology at the university opportunities to develop its academic and practical programs, showcase research projects by students and researchers, and build strong scientific and professional relationships with institutions and experts specializing in modern technologies."
It added that "this recognition reflects the direct direction of Al-Zahraa University for Women, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, toward engaging with global scientific environments and developing its educational and research infrastructure, ensuring the preparation of engineering and technical personnel capable of keeping pace with technological advancements and contributing to the creation of future technical solutions."
It is worth noting that Al-Zahraa University for Women, affiliated with the Secretariat General of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, continues to execute its strategic plans to elevate its academic and research standing and support young female talent by providing an integrated educational environment that aligns with international standards.
