Imam Hussain Holy Shrine Continues Construction of Autism Center in Babylon

The Engineering and Technical Projects Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues work on the Autism Center project in Babylon at an accelerated pace, as part of its efforts to complete the project in accordance with the highest technical and engineering standards, reflecting a strong commitment to delivering this humanitarian and rehabilitation facility.

In a statement obtained by the official website, the department said that "the Engineering and Technical Projects Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues work on the Autism Center project in Babylon at an accelerated pace, as part of its efforts to complete the project according to the highest technical and engineering standards, reflecting the level of efficiency and commitment invested in this humanitarian and rehabilitation landmark."

The statement explained that "the total area of the project is (12,000) square meters and it consists of (5) floors in addition to a basement," noting that "the project has been designed and implemented according to international standards that take into account the psychological condition of individuals with autism spectrum disorders, providing a comprehensive therapeutic and rehabilitation environment."

It added that "the project includes a dedicated cochlear implant section and an autism section, as well as hydrotherapy halls, individual rooms, and laboratories, and will be equipped in accordance with the latest approved treatment methods."

The department noted that "the project will serve a large number of children in Babylon Province by providing specialized therapeutic and rehabilitation services that contribute to supporting them and developing their abilities."

The project embodies a strategic vision aimed at creating a fully integrated educational and rehabilitation environment for children, helping to provide the care they need in line with the latest approved standards and enhancing the level of services offered to this important segment of society.
