Imam Hussain Holy Shrine Distributes Food Baskets to Diabetic Children in Babil

As part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the most vulnerable groups, the Imam Hussain Guest House Department, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, announced the distribution of food baskets to children with diabetes in Babil province, in cooperation with the Diabetes Children Care Association.

Assistant Head of the Guest House Department, Mohammed Ibrahim Hassan, said in a statement to the official website, “The Imam Hussain Guest House Department, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, distributed food baskets to children with diabetes in Babil province, in cooperation with the Diabetes Children Care Association, as part of its continued humanitarian efforts to support the most vulnerable groups.”

He explained that “this initiative comes as part of a series of humanitarian programs aimed at providing direct in-kind support to children with diabetes, numbering (175) children registered with the association in the province.”

He added that “the food baskets distributed were carefully prepared to meet the needs of beneficiary families, as they included essential items that help ease the burden on the families of patients.”

He noted that “the department is committed to implementing qualitative initiatives that contribute to alleviating living pressures on families, especially those facing specific health conditions that require ongoing care.”

It is worth noting that the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues to carry out its humanitarian and relief programs across various provinces, reaffirming its societal role in promoting social solidarity and extending support to the most in need.
