The statement added that “this scientific publication does not merely represent an academic accomplishment, but lays the groundwork for a strategic transformation in lung cancer prevention and early detection programs in Iraq. It also strengthens the adoption of evidence-based health policies aimed at protecting citizens’ health.”
It further affirmed that “scientific research is a fundamental pillar of our health vision, and global medical knowledge must be translated into precise, safe, and free services delivered to the Iraqi citizen, in alignment with its humanitarian mission to safeguard human life and advance the healthcare system in the country.”
This scientific achievement comes as part of the ongoing efforts of the Health and Medical Education Authority at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to promote medical research and support high-impact international studies, particularly in the fields of oncology and preventive healthcare.
