He explained that “the Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba Courtyard project constitutes the second part of the major expansion of the Imam Hussain Courtyard,” adding that “the total built-up area of the project amounts to (100) thousand square meters.”
He stressed that “the project is among the important initiatives implemented by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to accommodate visitors and reduce congestion during mass pilgrimages.”
This project comes within an integrated strategic vision adopted by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to develop infrastructure in line with the growing number of visitors and the evolving requirements of service and organization, while also providing a safe and well-prepared environment capable of hosting various religious and service activities during major pilgrimage seasons.
