The Warith International Foundation for Oncology Treatment, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, announced the outcomes of its services for the year 2025.
In a statement obtained by the official website, the foundation said that “Warith International Cancer Institute”, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, provided specialized therapeutic services during 2025.” It clarified that “the number of adult beneficiaries reached (4,200), while free services provided to children under the age of (15) totaled (1,950), bringing the overall number of beneficiaries of medical services to (6,150).”
The statement explained that “the expenditures allocated by Warith International Cancer Institute were distributed as follows: (11,731,263,000) Iraqi dinars dedicated to the treatment of children, while spending on adult treatment amounted to (5,206,679,000) Iraqi dinars, bringing the total to (16,937,942,000) Iraqi dinars during the year (2025).”
It added that “these figures reflect the scale of the specialized services provided by the foundation through the use of the latest medical equipment and highly skilled staff.”
The statement affirmed that “the institution remains committed to delivering the best possible services in line with the vision of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to support free treatment programs and continuously develop the medical services provided.”
It is worth noting that the Warith International Cancer Institute, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has recently obtained international accreditation (JCI) in recognition of its commitment to applying global protocols in the delivery of services to cancer patients.
