The Warith International Cancer Institute, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, announced that it provided free medical services to (336) children during the past month of December, as part of its ongoing efforts to support sick children and ensure access to treatment without imposing any financial burden on their families.
In a statement obtained by the official website, the Institute said that “the Warith International Cancer Institute, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, provided free medical services to (336) children during the past month of December.”
The statement explained that “this initiative comes within the humanitarian and health programs of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, aimed at delivering specialized medical care free of charge to children with tumors under the age of (15).”
The Warith International Cancer Institute is considered one of the leading institutions affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine. It plays an active role in providing free treatment to children under the age of (15), reflecting the shrine’s continued commitment to supporting the community and enhancing healthcare for children from various Iraqi governorates.
