The Al-Warith Scouts Association, affiliated with the Youth Development and Social Rehabilitation Department at the Holy Shrine, announced finishing all preparations for the banner's replacement ceremonies, coinciding with Muharram.
Mohammad Fadhel Hussain, the official of the first aid unit in the association, said in an interview that "under the direct guidance of the representative of the supreme religious authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai... an integrated plan was prepared to distribute first aid points, during the ceremony of the banner's replacement."
Hussain stated, "There are over 150 paramedics, and 16 emergency mobile points will be deployed inside and outside the Shrine to cover the amplest potential places where all pilgrims exist."
He added, "Preparations were already made very early for the Ashura ceremonies, as first aid courses and workshops were held for the volunteers and scouts of Al-Warith."
