The Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, Mr. Hassan Rasheed Al-Abaychi, indicated that the projects constructed by the holy shrine aren't considered as alternatives to the activities and events carried out by government institutions, but rather to support the field of health care, and other services, all over the country"
In an interview with the official website, the Secretary-General said, "the support came as a result of the strong bond between the holy shrine and the government because the Holy Shrine possesses very advanced capabilities and competencies in the health field.
that led to joining forces to face all the rough days, especially after the establishment of 19 hospitals and a healing center in a very difficult circumstance, and in a record time, and because of that, we earned the admiration of the government and citizens"
He continued, "These services covered many places all over the country, and its services included all people, regardless taking care to their detail, or dividing them into different kinds, therefore, all people are in the same level of importance, rather than anything"
He noted that "the Imam Hussain shrine has great plans to develop and construct giant projects, whether they are hospitals, universities or other centers."
It is stated that the Holy Shrine under the directives of the representative of the supreme religious authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, was able to construct over (200) various projects to serve the Iraqi people at the highest levels.
