Sardar Muhammad Yousif, the Pakistani Minister of Religious Affairs sent a message to Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) during his visit to the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine booth in Islamabad.
Yousif wrote in his message a few lines of poetry which states "The tyranny of Yazid has vanished along with the aggression of Ziad …. And the name of Hussein remains along with Karbala."
It is also interesting to note that Sardar is from the Deobandi sect who originate from the Deoband University of India and follow the teachings of Abu-Hanafiya.
