Es-Safi: Military Industry Must Benefit From Local Scientific Energies And Remove Lack Of Coordination

Mar 27, 2015. Second part of the Friday Sermon held in the Imam Hussein holy shrine, the representative of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority and the preacher of the Friday Sermon in Kerbala city, His Eminence Sayyed Ahmed Es-Safi mentioned three important points:

First:

It is significant to draw attention to the issue of unity of vision and coordination of positions between the Iraqi authorities and the brave volunteers and Military Forces to eliminate the threat of terrorism.

In addition, the government must develop serious and precise strategies to achieve more glorious victories and free the country from the hands of extremism.

For this reason, it is significant to remove the lack of coordination regarding all military decision making between the General Command and the Iraqi Armed Forces and volunteers.

Second:

It is evident that during any war, a country suffers in terms of human loss and financial loss, however, Iraq sustains large number military scientists that are able innovate and provide the necessary military supplies for the current war against ISIS.

Hence, the military industry must begin to locally manufacture military resources and avoid depending on importing weaponry to strengthen the military grounds as well as reduce the human and financial losses.

Third:

It is evidently seen that in order for a nation to live a free and decent life, it must sacrifice what is most precious as well as priceless. Iraq has sacrificed the precious and priceless through the martyrdom of its brave fighters who dedicated their lives for the sake of freeing their country from the hands of terrorism and extremism.

For this reason, the government is responsible to take care of the families of those martyrs and provide all the necessities they require to live a decent and free life.
