The Secretariat-General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine continues the establishment of various projects that seek to advance and develop the health and services reality of Kerbala city and the Iraqi citizens.
One of its' ongoing establishments is the "Zain El-Abedeen" General Hospital that specializes in treating numerous surgical operations and injuries.
Ameen Abu Ridha, Project Supervisor stated that the Hospital is built on a foundation of 13,000m2 and is made up of 3 buildings; which are geared with the latest medical technology and laboratory equipment.
The hospital is currently 95% complete, and is scheduled to open within the next six months.
