In Support of Martyrs’ Children: Imam Hussain Holy Shrine Launches School Supplies Distribution Campaign in Amerli coincide with New Academic Year

Coinciding with the start of the new academic year, the Department of Care for Families of Martyrs and Wounded at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine announced the implementation of a humanitarian campaign to distribute school uniforms and study supplies to the children of martyrs in the Amerli district of Saladin Governorate.

In an interview with the Official Website, Emad Al-Jashami, Head of the Department's Media Unit, stated that "the campaign targeted more than (150) male and female students among the children of martyrs, including the distribution of school uniforms and backpacks equipped with various essential supplies and stationery."

He added that "this initiative comes as part of the programs of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine aimed at caring for the children of martyrs and attending to their educational needs, in addition to helping alleviate the financial burdens on their families with the beginning of the school year."

He pointed out that "selecting the Amerli district comes in appreciation of the sacrifices of its people and the steadfastness of the martyrs' families," explaining that "the campaign represents an extension of the care programs provided by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to this segment across various governorates."

He confirmed that "the educational care program is ongoing and will encompass a number of Iraqi governorates, aiming to reach the largest possible number of children of martyrs and the wounded, and to provide them with school supplies, honoring the sacrifices of their fathers and supporting their educational journey."
