The Director of Imam Al-Hassan Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) Hospital, Dr. Moayed Hameed Al-Janabi, stated in an interview with the official website that "since starting active operations, the hospital has witnessed remarkable development in the field of bone marrow transplantation, extending services to both adult and pediatric patient demographics, culminating in nearly 400 successful operations recorded to date."
He explained that "achieving this figure within a short timeframe represents a qualitative leap in delivering specialized medical services within Iraq. It reflects the humanitarian and medical vision of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine in providing the highest standards of healthcare for hematology patients, while alleviating the financial and logistical burden of seeking treatment abroad for Iraqi families."
He added that "this success was realized through the dedicated, integrated efforts of Iraqi medical and healthcare teams, operating in direct partnership and collaboration with specialized teams from sisterly nations," expressing his appreciation for all personnel who contributed to delivering this humanitarian service.
