Sayyida Zainab Center Announces Medical Services for Over 18,000 Pilgrims During Arbaeen Pilgrimage

The Sayyida Zainab (peace be upon her) Specialized Surgical Eye Center, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the total tally of medical and therapeutic services provided to pilgrims during the blessed days of the Arbaeen pilgrimage.

In a statement obtained by the Official Website, the center declared: "The center provided its medical and therapeutic services to 18,235 pilgrims, as part of an integrated plan to offer healthcare to incoming visitors to the holy city of Karbala."

It added that "the center's medical, nursing, and administrative staff made immense round-the-clock efforts aimed at providing necessary healthcare to pilgrims by conducting medical examinations, delivering therapeutic interventions, and supplying essential medicines and treatments."

It noted that "these services form part of the medical efforts made by health institutions affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to secure healthcare for pilgrims arriving from various governorates and countries during the Arbaeen pilgrimage."

It is worth noting that the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, through its healthcare institutions, hospitals, and medical centers, works to provide the finest medical and therapeutic services to pilgrims during major occasions and million-strong pilgrimages, particularly the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).
