The Quran House Department at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has announced that its Quranic Stations project served over 81,446 beneficiaries during the Arbaeen pilgrimage. The initiative involved 750 male and female instructors deployed across 90 stations in Karbala and several other governorates.
Speaking to the Official Website, the Head of the Department, Sheikh Dr. Khair al-Din al-Hadi, stated: "The stations witnessed a widespread turnout, delivering Quranic, educational, and awareness services over a period of 7 days, which contributed to correcting recitation and enhancing religious and cultural awareness among pilgrims."
He explained that "the project featured 54 international and local Quranic assemblies, 23 Quranic competitions, and 8 seminars, in addition to 82 religious and awareness lectures that addressed various Quranic and educational themes."
He added that "the project included the distribution of more than 25,000 blessed gifts," emphasizing that "the results achieved annually serve as an incentive to develop the initiative and expand its services during upcoming pilgrimages."
The project forms part of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine’s efforts to spread Quranic culture and foster a spiritual and educational environment to serve the pilgrims of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) during million-strong pilgrimages.
