Comprehensive Services Across Multiple Axes: Sayyid Al-Awsiya Visitor City Operated by Imam Hussain Holy Shrine Continues Receiving and Serving Arbaeen Pilgrims

Sayyid Al-Awsiya (peace be upon him) Visitor City, affiliated with Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, continues to implement its service plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), delivering an integrated network of hospitality, medical, and cultural services to ensure maximum comfort for arriving visitors in Karbala.

Ali Al-Husseini, media officer for the visitor city, stated in an interview with the official website that "Sayyid Al-Awsiya (peace be upon him) Visitor City, affiliated with Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, continues to implement its service plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), delivering an integrated network of hospitality, medical, and cultural services to ensure maximum comfort for arriving visitors in Karbala."

He explained that "the annual plan relies on several key axes, led by the hospitality axis, which includes operating two dining halls to welcome pilgrims—an internal hall serving various main meals and an external one dedicated to fast-food distribution to accommodate the growing numbers of visitors."

He added that "the city has prepared 22 halls fully equipped with all amenities to accommodate and shelter pilgrims around the clock, helping provide a comprehensive service environment throughout the pilgrimage days."

He further noted that "the medical aspect forms one of the plan's most prominent pillars, as two medical centers—one inside the city and another outside—are operating in cooperation with the Baghdad/Al-Rusafa Health Directorate to supply treatment, emergency care, and general healthcare services to pilgrims."

He highlighted that "the city also paid special attention to the cultural aspect, collaborating with the Al-Qabas Foundation for Culture and Development to set up several cultural and developmental centers aimed at educating visitors, raising religious awareness, and preparing them intellectually before they proceed to perform the pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him)."
