The Department of Religious Affairs at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has launched a package of educational and interactive activities tailored for youth and children as part of its special plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), aiming to develop their intellectual abilities and reinforce religious and moral values using modern teaching methods.

Sayyid Muntadhar Al-Hadeed, head of the Family and Child Unit, stated in an interview with the official website that "the Department of Religious Affairs at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has launched a package of educational and interactive activities tailored for youth and children as part of its special plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), aiming to develop their intellectual abilities and reinforce religious and moral values using modern teaching methods."

He explained that "the program targets the youth and children segment as they represent the fundamental pillar in building society," pointing out that "the activities were designed to create an interactive learning environment combining knowledge and entertainment, thereby contributing to embedding Islamic principles and developing the participants' skills."

He added that "the program features a puppet theater performance that delivers educational and awareness messages in an appealing and indirect manner, along with organizing cultural and interactive competitions that cultivate a spirit of competition and analytical thinking, complete with encouraging gifts for participants."

He further clarified that "the events also included hosting several activists to deliver educational lectures and guidance, as well as sharing their meaningful life experiences to motivate youth and children to build their character and acquire positive behaviors."

He noted that "the department utilized Virtual Reality (VR) technology to simulate the Event of Taff, allowing participants to undergo an interactive experience that deepens their connection to the Hussaini cause in a contemporary style, in addition to allocating segments encouraging children to recite Surah Al-Fatiha over the loudspeaker, with reading errors corrected in an educational manner that helps build self-confidence and overcome fear."
