Under the direction of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalaei, and as part of its ongoing humanitarian and medical mission, the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, through its hospitals and healthcare centers, has dispatched a comprehensive medical delegation to the city of Al-Shomali in Babylon Province to conduct field examinations and provide consultations and treatment to patients free of charge as part of a series of medical campaigns across several provinces.
Speaking to the official website, the hospital’s administrative director, Engineer Abbas Abdul Ali, said that "the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues to implement its medical programs outside the Holy Province of Karbala with the aim of delivering healthcare services to areas in need of direct medical support, particularly regions located far from specialized medical centers."
He explained that "the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, as part of its ongoing humanitarian and medical mission, dispatched a comprehensive medical delegation through its hospitals and healthcare centers to the city of Al-Shomali in Babylon Province to conduct field examinations and provide consultations and the necessary treatments to patients free of charge, as part of a series of medical campaigns in a number of provinces."
He added that "the delegation consists of (8) specialties, including general surgery, gynecology, ear, nose and throat, urological surgery, in addition to other surgical specialties."
These campaigns come within the vision of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to strengthen humanitarian medical work and expand healthcare initiatives that help alleviate the suffering of patients while promoting the concept of comprehensive healthcare across different provinces.
