Imam Hussain Holy Shrine Advances Al-Warith Guest House Project in Karbala

The Strategic Projects Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues construction work on the Al-Warith Guest House project, one of the major service projects aimed at strengthening infrastructure and enhancing services provided to the residents of Karbala and visiting pilgrims.

In a statement obtained by the official website, the department said that "the Strategic Projects Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine continues construction work on the Al-Warith Guest House project, which is considered one of the major service projects aimed at strengthening infrastructure and developing services provided to the people of Karbala and visitors."

The statement explained that "the land allocated for the project covers an area of (7800) square meters, while the building consists of a basement, a ground floor, and (17) additional floors, forming a fully integrated service facility designed to meet the needs of various segments of society and those arriving in the holy city."

It added that "the project includes a range of vital facilities, including a multi-purpose theater, dining halls, administrative and residential rooms, as well as large and small meeting halls and a parking area, providing a comprehensive service environment suited to the activities and events hosted by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine."

The department noted that "the architectural, structural, and electromechanical designs of the project were prepared in accordance with the latest international standards, ensuring the provision of advanced and integrated infrastructure that contributes to improving service quality and keeping pace with modern construction and operational standards."

The Al-Warith Guest House project is part of a package of strategic projects being implemented by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine in the city of Karbala, aimed at supporting the service and urban sectors and providing modern facilities that serve both citizens and visitors alike.
