Sayyida Khadija Women’s Hospital Provides Over 104,000 Medical Services in Q1 2026

The Sayyida Khadija Al-Kubra Specialized Hospital for Women, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, announced the outcome of its medical services during the first quarter of 2026, revealing that it provided more than (104,000) medical services to patients as part of its ongoing efforts to advance healthcare standards in line with the latest medical practices.

Hospital Director Dr. Baydaa Al-Tamimi said in a statement to the official website that “the Lady Khadija Al-Kubra Specialized Hospital for Women, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, delivered specialized healthcare and medical services during the first quarter of 2026,” noting that “the hospital provided more than (104,973) medical services to patients as part of its continued efforts to improve healthcare services according to the highest modern medical standards.”

She explained that “the services included medical consultations, surgical procedures, laboratory and radiological examinations, in addition to emergency services, physiotherapy, and specialized care.”

She added that “the consultation clinics received (21,720) patients, while the emergency department handled (3,213) cases, reflecting the growing confidence in the specialized services provided by the hospital to citizens.”

She further stated that “during the same period, the hospital performed (1,931) various surgical procedures, while the laboratory department recorded (60,992) laboratory tests. The radiology department also carried out (8,759) diagnostic examinations, in addition to providing (1,080) physiotherapy sessions and anesthesia services for (87) cases.”

She pointed out that “the number of inpatients admitted to the hospital reached (2,688) cases, in addition to (304) cases in the day-care unit, reflecting the high capacity and operational efficiency of the internal departments.”
