The Warith International Cancer Institute, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the results of its services during the first quarter of 2026.
In a statement obtained by the official website, the institution said, “Warith International Cancer Institute, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, provided specialized treatment services during the first quarter of 2026,” noting that “the number of adult beneficiaries reached (947), while the free services provided to children under the age of (15) reached (1,315) beneficiaries, bringing the total number of beneficiaries of medical services to (2,262).”
The statement explained that “these services were distributed across various age groups, with a strong focus on children and patients from different Iraqi provinces.”
It added that “the delivery of medical services to such a large number of patients reflects the hospital’s high capacity and the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine’s commitment to providing treatment to all citizens without exception.”
Through Warith International Cancer Institute and these ongoing efforts, the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine seeks to accommodate the largest possible number of cancer patients, relying on the latest medical technologies and international quality standards to ensure the delivery of humanitarian and medical services to all citizens.
