The Imam Hussain Specialized Medical Complex, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the volume of its free medical services provided during the first quarter of the current year.
Director of the complex, Dr. Alaa Abdul Rahman, stated in an interview with the official website that “the Imam Hussain Specialized Medical Complex provided services to more than (1188) patients during the first quarter of the current year, across various departments and specialized clinics,” noting that “all services provided were fully funded by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine and were made available to beneficiaries free of charge.”
He explained that “the statistics resulted from (5) major initiatives, which included the provision of fully free medical and treatment services on the anniversary of the birth of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), in addition to reduced-cost initiatives held on occasions marking the births and deaths of the Imams (peace be upon them).”
He added that “this distinguished outcome strengthens the range of medical services provided by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine through its healthcare institutions, within a comprehensive vision aimed at developing the healthcare work environment and expanding responsiveness to citizens’ needs, ensuring the delivery of the best medical services in accordance with the highest international standards.”
It is worth noting that the Imam Hussain Specialized Medical Complex continues to provide its medical services and diverse healthcare, reaffirming its commitment to operational plans aimed at delivering the highest levels of comfort and health support to patients.
