Imam Zain Al-Abidin Teaching Hospital, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has announced the start of installing the latest MRI and spiral CT scanners of international origin, as part of an expanded plan aimed at enhancing the quality of medical services and improving the hospital’s diagnostic capabilities.
The hospital’s media officer, Mustafa Al-Mousawi, said in a statement to the official website that “Imam Zain Al-Abidin Teaching Hospital, affiliated with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, has begun installing the latest MRI and spiral CT scanners of global origin, as part of a comprehensive plan to elevate the level of medical services and strengthen the hospital’s diagnostic capacities.”
He explained that “this step comes in response to the increasing workload and high demand for advanced diagnostic examinations, as the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine aims, through equipping the hospital with these technologies, to reduce waiting times and provide faster and more comfortable services for patients, while ensuring the highest standards of diagnostic accuracy.”
He added that “these devices represent the latest generation of technology worldwide, enabling medical staff to obtain highly detailed images that support precise treatment decisions, in addition to their high-speed performance in conducting examinations, which contributes to smoother workflow and reduced congestion.”
He noted that “the devices will enter full operation in the near future, marking a qualitative shift in the modernization of healthcare equipment and technologies, and reinforcing the commitment to delivering medical care in line with internationally recognized standards.”
This achievement comes as part of the ongoing development plans of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine to introduce the latest medical and healthcare technologies through Imam Zain Al-Abidin Teaching Hospital, with the aim of improving the healthcare system and providing the best services to citizens.
