Imam Hussain Holy Shrine Hosts First Iraqi-Tunisian Cultural Forum

The Imam Hussain Holy Shrine witnessed the launch of the first Iraqi-Tunisian Cultural Forum in the Holy Husayni Courtyard, attended by religious, academic, and media figures from both countries. The forum aims to establish a framework for joint cultural and media cooperation and to strengthen communication between intellectual elites in a way that serves Arab and international presence while conveying the true image to audiences around the world.

Haider Al-Mankoushi, head of the International Media Center at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, stated that the activities of the first Iraqi-Tunisian Cultural Forum were launched in the courtyard of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and at the Khatam Al-Anbiya Hall, with the participation of a distinguished group of religious, academic, and media personalities, as well as individuals interested in cultural affairs.

He added that the International Media Center, affiliated with the Media Department at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, is working to attract influential figures from various countries worldwide, noting that organizing this forum represents a foundational step toward sustained future cooperation aimed at enhancing joint cultural and media presence.

He explained that these efforts seek to build effective communication bridges with Arab and international media, contributing to the accurate portrayal of events and realities to diverse audiences at both the Arab and global levels.
