The Health and Medical Education Authority of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine has announced that the Imam Hussain Specialized Medical Complex welcomes more than 300,000 patient visits annually, reflecting the community’s trust in its comprehensive healthcare services that combine professional expertise with compassionate care.
In a statement, the Authority noted: “The Imam Hussain Specialized Medical Complex, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority of the Holy Shrine, receives over 300,000 visits each year, a testament to patients’ confidence in its integrated services that unite specialized medical knowledge with holistic humanitarian care.”
The complex houses a wide range of outpatient specialty clinics, including internal medicine, ophthalmology, dentistry, ENT, diabetes care, and speech disorders, supervised by qualified medical staff. It is supported by a fully equipped medical laboratory operating with modern devices and high-quality standards.
It also includes a comprehensive center for diagnosing and treating speech and language disorders, overseen by a team of specialized physicians.
According to the Authority, the complex launched more than 100 free and discounted medical initiatives during the past year to serve various segments of society. It continues to provide daily services without interruption, operating morning and evening shifts to remain accessible to all in need.
The Holy Shrine’s vision in this field, the statement added, is based on ensuring the right of all individuals to fair and comprehensive healthcare. Its mission is to deliver quality services that enhance public health while easing the burdens on vulnerable groups.
