6000 volunteers assist Arba'een pilgrims

 

Kerbela, the holy land, is where more than 25 million pilgrims are expected to arrive soon to commemorate the Arba’een anniversary of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him).

 

In addition to 20000 employees of Imam Hussein and El-Abbas Shrines, Imam Hussein Shrine has received more than 6000 volunteers who are providing pilgrims with what they need while performing their pilgrimage, such as food, water, medical assistance, and places to stay in.

 

The police department of the city has stated that more than 20000 policemen have been tasked to secure the holy city of Kerbela during the pilgrimage.
