Transporting pilgrims from and to Iraqi-Iranian borders

 

 

The Tourism Department of Imam Hussein Shrine has begun transporting pilgrims from Iraqi-Iranian borders to the holy city of Kerbela and vice versa.

 

Reyadh El-Hekeem, department director, said that there are 340 buses transporting pilgrims, which make15 trips a day.

 

He added that more than 5000 pilgrims enter Iraq every single day of the pilgrimage season to commemorate the Arba’een anniversary of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him).
