May 8, 2015. Second part of the Friday Sermon held in the Imam Hussein holy shrine, the representative of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority and the preacher of the Friday Sermon in Kerbala city, His Eminence Sayyed Ahmed Es-Safi mentioned two important points:
First:
The Islamic Supreme Religious Authority requests from the Iraqi government officials to accurately select the individuals who seek to lead the security of the country and investigate their profiles.
The abilities of the government in its current war against terrorism must be developed effectively in order to not loss control over some areas of the country similar to the reconquering of Nineveh by the terrorist group ISIS. With this being said, a few points are emphasized:
1) Government officials must accurately select the suitable individuals who meet the required standards for sensitive positions. For instance, the selected individuals must be competent in developing military procedures for the current war as well as contain a sense of care for their nation and fellow citizens.
Such individuals sustain the ability to overcome the lack of security of the country.
2) It has been mentioned and on various occasions, that the government must rely on and improve the local industries which manufacture weapons and ammunition. Due to the fact that it is essential for this great nation to rely on its own capabilities in developing precise military strategies to defend the rights of our homelands and citizens.
3) The received intelligence information must be validated and taken into serious consideration. This is very significant because there has been numerous accurate information that were not paid any attention which resulted in disastrous consequences.
For this reason, two points are presented:
a) Choose the best and most professional individuals for the sake of providing sincere intelligence.
b) Unify the intelligence efforts and imply them in a very accurate and systematic matter to benefit the responsible officials.
Second:
As previously mentioned, we request from the government and the wealthy individuals to support the displaced families as well as the families of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of country.
The people are this great nation are honored to have such individuals who dedicated their lives to defend their land, civilization, and fellow citizens. This is why we are all in debt and in favor of those brave soldiers. For this reason, we must return this favor by supporting their families and taking care of their orphans.
