Under the title of “The Prince of the Believers (Peace Be Upon Him) is the Devine Bestowal and the Humanitarian Constitution,” the activities of the Prince of the Believers Festival began in Hyderabad, India. The festival was held on Saturday, May 2, 2015, for the third year successively.
A flock of the adorers of Ahlul-Bayet (Peace Be Upon Them) of academicians, religious scholars, educationists, culturalists, and popular audience attended the stately festival, in addition to the delegations of the holy shrines from Iraq.
The festival was begun with reciting verses from the Noble Quran, recited by sayyed Haider Jalowkhan, from the El-Abbas Holy Shrine, followed by a speech delivered by sayyed Nazar, on behalf of his father, His Eminence, sayyed Ala’ Hussein Ridha Agha, the in charge of the Shia Muslim religious scholars, and the representative of the Supreme religious authority, sayyed Ali Es-Systany in the city of Nejaf, Iraq; in Hyderabad, Pakistan.
In his speech, he expressed his happiness for celebrating the blessed birthday of Imam Ali Bin Abi Talib (Peace Be Upon Him), and for meeting up with the representatives of the holy shrines form Iraq. He also hoped that the festival would be successful and fulfilling all the goals on which it was conducted. He concluded his speech by extending his gratitude to the representatives of the holy shrines and all the adorers of Ahlul-Bayet (Peace Be Upon Them) who attended the festival.
The representatives of the holy shrines delivered their speeches, followed by a speech delivered by the Hafidh Mohammed Uthman, the leader of the Friday’s prayer in Hyderabad, Pakstan; in which he emphasized that Muslims should be one firm hand so that nothing could ever separate them. He also mentioned that sedition, nowadays, is being separated among Muslims in order to weaken them. He said further that Muslims should follow the path of Imam Ali (Peace Be Upon Him), after the Prophet Mohammed (Allah’s Peace & Blessings Be Upon Him & His Pure Lineage.)
After Shaikh Ali El-Asadi opened the festival activities where there was a book fair in English; Arabic and Urdu, photography gallery, in addition to intellectual contests. The stand of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine received a great number of the adorers of Ahlul-Bayet (Peace Be Uppn Them), where many of them registered online for pilgrimage by proxy to Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him).
